Earlier today, Samsung tweeted its invitation to the launch event for the next Galaxy S smart phone - launch date: March 14, 2013.
The event is called 'Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 1'. The company has invited people to 'come and meet the next Galaxy', and uses the numeral 4 in the phrase 'Ready 4 the show'. The current version of the popular smart phone is Galaxy S3.

A live streaming of the show will be available on Samsung Mobile's YouTube page. CNET had already received a confirmation from Samsung about the launch of the Galaxy S4, but the tweet from Samsung today was the official confirmation and the icing over the cake.

Another report from CNN today has indicated that the Galaxy S4 smartphone is anticipated to play a key role in Visa's mobile payment strategy.
